I cant believe there is so much negativity and rude comments made to other posters and to this girl in the photo. Honestly who CARES if its art or not? And is it really necessary to be so rude and calling others names? If someone doesnt enjoy it, fine but dont force the same belief on others or start condemning them for thinking something different.
Not everyone see the same thing..it is in the Pin-up category so there will be some sensual feeling to the picture..I have seen much worse and this is a beautiful picture..you don't have to look at it if it offends you!
Why no one sees this as art? Because camera wasnt great so the quality is low. Be sure, that if you get a good camera, all those art-experts appreciate your "art". And the "braclet" title is just great i think. The first thing i noticed on this photo is braclet indeed.
While I get the "art" I also see just another version of this trying to get everyone to say: beautiful, perfect, sexy. Yes sexy, but don't see much in the way of great art here, just underwear and ribs.
true, but this girl is unrealistically thin and that's why I think this is unnecessary. it's showing people that a picture like this can only be popular if you are stick thin, and that's not going to encourage people to do good things.
no, I'm not jealous of someone that shows off their body on a website used for art. how does this have meaning? sure, it's a pretty picture and all, but she's honestly really thin and I honestly think she just wants to flaunt it around. I'm not jealous, I think it's unhealthy.
Yeah, because this photo totally wasn't taken by a FUCKING PHOTOGRAPHER who goes by the dA name of ArtOriginal (btw, that girl in the pic might not even be on deviantart). It must be just another candid selfie; why else would the lights be set up specifically to accent the picture?
There is nothing wrong with this picture, and art can have a simple meaning - no one said that the oh so taboo crossing of one's legs wasn't permitted on deviantART. So, if you didn't see anything worthwhile in this then go elsewhere with your insecurities.
By the way, she's not too thin. Some people are born that way. What's unhealthy is when a girl who isn't built like a toothpick tries to become one, but that's simply not the case here.
You don't know that's not the case, she could have been at an average weight previously. I know this was taken by a photographer. But it's not good to promote such an unhealthy weight if that's what's going on here. I still don't see anything really artistic about this. Like I said, it's a very good-quality photograph, but I can't see why it was special enough to be on the front page and that's why I said something.
at first she is a slut, after getting some critique to your words, she is too thin. she isnt naked on that picture and shows her belly simply. she is not unhealthy thin, she looks great. so you watch down on your belly and whats that? surprise it looks like and pregnant woman common you are jealous.
The more people look, the farther this will go to the front. If your reason to complain was because it was on the front, then why did you help keep it there by looking at it? I honestly can't tell whether or not you're just trolling now.
Either way, its popularity is dependent on how many people navigate there, not by the quality of the work. The front page isn't the place for the best art, it's the place for what's trending.
This is art . You're just too stupid to understand that . This kind of art stand to show how girl body can be perfect . You should stop acting like a virgin who have never seen a nude girl except his mother .

No one is perfect, are you saying if a girl is skinny, only then, she can be perfect? The body sizes don't count as even a lead to being perfect so shut your trap. Anyone can take a picture of themselves in undies but that doesn't mean it's art...
Art doesn't have to be difficult to create. It happens accidentally in nature all the time.
Also, just because the underwear gives this photo a sexual theme, doesn't mean it isn't art. According to dA's staff (I disagree with this to a point, but they're the ones who make the rules, so...) artistic nudes and erotic art are still art until they become porn. I don't see any porn in this, just a girl in a pin-up.
it would be art if it was unique. I can't really find any meaning to this. it seems like the person who took this picture just wants to show off their body. it's also not very good to promote someone being this thin. it's honestly unhealthy. you can see this girl's ribs prominently.
